Dirty guitar booster with an instant vintage character
Product Overview
The Trouble Booster is a dirty guitar booster with an instant vintage character
It creates an authentically vintage range of overdrive tones by interacting with your guitar's pickups in a unique way before boosting their signal into the input of your amplifier. This results in a very pure signal path that isn't 'clipped' into distortion, but pushed.
Designed around an original germanium transistor, our special circuit operates similarly to a valve (tube) gain stage, producing a thick, warm overdriven tone as smooth and naturally compressed as a vintage amplifier.
In order to increase note definition without compromising the vintage charm, the Bright switch doesn't add treble, but removes some of the low frequency information for more detailed tones.
At higher Volume settings the pedal will conjure feedback and sustain from your guitar that you never knew it was capable of.

Review Snippets
"If your valves are already cooking away, this is a pedal that will take things further and enhance the tonality with a saturated richness, laden with harmonics. The normal mode offers a fat sound with an enhanced top end, while the bright mode offers a defined bite to the note that cuts through. All this with a sensitivity that responds well to variations in pick attack and guitar volume. If you are looking for extra richness, harmonics and sustain, this delivers in two distinct flavours. Boost like the Rev Gibbons himself."
"Deployed first on my pedalboard, it did impart some "more of a good thing" mojo. It's sonic magic!"
"Just spent a few days in the studio with it and had a blast."
